Fresh Start Counseling

My name is Christie Matlosz and I am a proud social worker here in Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be in the helping profession. Through some difficult times with family members, I really pinpointed my desire to become a therapist. In college, I found my passion for social work, looking at the whole person and their environment, and the belief, as well as the support, for a person to make their own decisions. In the past few years, I have worked with a variety of different clients including: mothers , teens, those struggling with substance use, marital/relationship strain, those grieving lost loved ones, and those struggling with anxiety, self sabotage, depression, negative self-talk, and low self-esteem.
